Heidelberg Goes "Above and Beyond" with Service |

The can-do attitude of Heidelberg’s service and support team made the installation of Hogan Print’s new CD74 5 colour press a seamless exercise. Anthony Hogan talks about his experience.
“We are a family printer, third generation. Our business is built on personal service and as a consequence we like to know who we are working with – supplier and customer.
“We’ve been a Heidelberg house for years and the long term relationships we have developed with the people at Heidelberg make a significant difference to the way we do business.”
Last year when Hogan Print was getting ready to upgrade its press at its Artarmon plant Heidelberg came to the table not only with the right printing solution, but also a plan for decommissioning and installation.
“Even though we were confident with the Heidelberg press in terms of its quality and performance one of the biggest selling points for us was their attitude. They literally thought of everything and came to us with a complete package.”
“Because we were taking out our biggest press, our main firepower, we couldn’t afford too much downtime. Heidelberg worked with us over the Christmas and New Year period to ensure that we were offline for the shortest time. Heidelberg also helped us out with recommendation of other printers who could handle a few urgent jobs for us.”
Anthony believes it is this extra attention to detail and a willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty that makes Heidelberg’s service stand above the rest.
“We were really appreciative of the time and effort Heidelberg put in over that holiday period. The guys were right there with us the whole time making sure everything went as smoothly as possible.
“Any printer will tell you that putting in new equipment, especially a large press, is a major undertaking. It makes all the difference when you have a partner like Heidelberg. Overall it was a really good experience and relatively stress free.”
And the new press? “It’s fantastic.”
