Drupa was the official launching place of Heidelberg’s new global consumable brand Saphira.
Every piece of equipment requiring consumables was running the Saphira brand showing case the range to thousands of customers visiting the Heidelberg halls and sending a strong message that company is taking the consumable business seriously. The message is a clear long term commitment to providing quality products at competitive prices under the Saphira name.
Three Saphira Performance Kits were also launched at Drupa. They are specifically designed for special Heidelberg technologies and applications, with all consumables interacting optimally with one another and the equipment.

drupa was also an important expo for environmental topics. Life size Reindeer models placed around our drupa halls became a talking point and drew attention to Heidelberg’s eco credentials and solutions. Not only do we hold ISO140001 certification for sustainable manufacturing but our demonstration centre recently obtained Forest Stewardship Council (F SC) certification.
