International Environmental Awards for Offset Printers - Register Now!
Protecting the environment is of great importance to us. Subsequently, at drupa 2008 we introduced the first international environmental awards for sustainable sheetfed offset printing. The awards will be granted to honor exceptional management of resources and energy, climate protection and environmentally friendly practices.
Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg) has set aside € 50,000 for the award, which is divided into two categories: “Sustainable companies” and “Forward-looking solutions”. An independent jury will select the most sustainably managed print shop and the one that has implemented the most forward-looking individual solutions. Award winners will be presented in December 2008.
All offset print shops worldwide operating at least one sheetfed offset press may enter the 2008 Heidelberg Eco Printing Awards.
To enter, you must provide information on your print shop and describe what you are doing to promote environmental protection and sustainability at your company.
Entries will be accepted between June 1 and July 31, 2008, so there is still plenty of time to apply.
