Correction of Nominal Position |
 |
The cutting machine operator will of course prepare a program as accurately as possible. But, when the program is carried out you will notice in some cases that, for example the theoretical job data do not match the real material. The material to be cut is loaded onto the machine, the cut is about to be made, but the operator notices that the cutting position is not quite correct. As a matter of fact, the program should be changed. However, to save the operator from having to press so many buttons, he / she can simply switch to the teach-in mode. This means that the cutting machine will "have a look at what the operator does" and then automatically save the corrections. The cutting position can be corrected without the need to interrupt the automatic processing of a program. To do so, the correction key is pressed in the activated "Automatic operation" mode. The machine confirms the activation of this corrective action by indicating "NOMINAL POSITION CORRECTION". Then, the operator may for instance set the new cut size by manual precision adjustment. Once the corrected cut has been performed, the program is automatically modified by the new cut size. This permits to make minor changes to the positions both fast and safely.
POLAR cutting machines* offer:
- Correction procedure for the daily work
- Lay guide correction for recurrent jobs
- Label size correction for the Eltrotakt repeat function
- Correction of knife thickness for varying knife thicknesses
- Knife correction for a direct fine adjustment of the position
- Correction of material to compensate for varying cutting behavior
* Please compare the technical data relevant for the individual machine models
