Heidelberg’s Printmaster PM52 Turns Kwik Kopy Southport into a Quick Printer |

Often when people think of Kwik Kopy, they think of – well, copying. Kwik Kopy Southport, in Queensland, has expanded the range of products and services they can offer to their customers through the purchase of a Heidelberg Printmaster PM52. Through wise investment Kwik Kopy Southport continues to offer quick copying services, but can now take on a whole new range of work in the area of quick printing.
The relationship between Kwik Kopy Southport and Heidelberg began with the purchase of a Polar 66 guillotine in 2004. Zlatko Sijecic, owner of Kwik Kopy Southport is very satisfied with the Poler’s performance. “It proved to be a successful investment since the machine has been run without any issues since it was installed,” said Zlatko
In 2005 Kwik Kopy Southport moved to a larger premises, taking the business away from its traditional copy centre setting into a more traditional, non-franchise type of factory. This change set the copy shop on track to become a full service printing business. After settling into the new premises, Zlatko felt the pressure on his printing machines. With their single and two color printing presses, Kwik Kopy Southport could not cope with the quality and turnaround demands expected of a modern mainstream printing business.
“We needed a quality printing press and it was at this time that Heidelberg came knocking at our door.” Zlatko said of the experience. After deciding that the PM52-2 would be the best fit for his business, Zlatko still had some concerns, in particular the cost of the press.

“Thanks to Heidelberg’s integrated sales approach where I was presented with not only product presentations but also quotes and finance options, I was convinced once again that purchasing the PM52-2 would be a wise investment allowing my business to grow.” said Zlatko.
The PM52-2 was installed in June this year. Its impact was felt a short time after commissioning the new press. “Our business has been on a completely new level compared to the previous structure. The investment in Heidelberg’s PM52-2 is definitely the turning point for our business. Our turnover reached a record high in July and I attribute this success to the PM52-2,” Zlatko added.
