Speedmaster 52 – ANICOLOR
ANICOLOR is the latest innovation designed for the Speedmaster SM 52 press. Anicolor is unique and is the first “zoneless” short inking unit with a dampening system that allows you to meet customer expectations with perfect offset quality in the digital market space.
This radical technology has rationalised the inking unit and cut costs significantly by reducing make-ready waste sheets. By minimising waste sheets further savings are achieved through reduced use of consumables, shorter make-ready and run time.

The application of precise ink volume and coverage is achieved using a format size screen roller located between the ink chamber and the inking form roller. Using a chamber doctor blade system, the ink is distributed across the entire printed sheet. Anicolor provides stable inking with minimal make-ready and combines the tried and tested Alcolor dampening unit ensuring a constant balance of ink and water.
• Ink changes are easy….you simply decouple the chamber doctor blade system and replace it with another.
• Rollers are automatically cleaned….using the centrally controlled Prinect CP2000 control console.
Production tests carried out by Heidelberg demonstrators using Anicolor and Prinect Workflow have shown waste reduction savings of up to 90% and production increases of up to 25%.
