Women in Print Inaugural Dinners
Women in Print is proud to bring you an evening of networking, fun
and fi ne food and wine at a venue near you. Women from all walks
of life in the print media sector are encouraged to join in and get
involved in this exciting new initiative.
Join us in March 2007 at our inaugural dinners to be held in fi ve cities across Australia.
Speaker
Guest speaker for the evening is Catharine Lumby. An Associate Professor at Sydney University, Ms. Lumby is a widely published print journalist, and has worked as a news reporter, feature writer and opinion columnist. She has also worked as a news reporter for ABC television. Her PhD thesis examined the rise of a tabloid culture in news and current affairs reporting in the US and Australia. She is the author and editor of four books and 23 book chapters and refereed journal articles.

Women in Print is a collective of women in the print media industry and provides a networking forum to
support, recognise and benefi t women from all walks of life within and around the industry.
Through regularly meeting and interacting we acknowledge, refl ect on and seek to develop the contribution women make to the prosperity and character of the printing community in Australia.
