Field Service Representative – Electrical |

We are currently seeking applications from energetic, dedicated and customer focussed individuals for the position of Field Service Representative – Electrical, based in Brisbane. Reporting to the Customer Support Manager – Queensland and working as an integral member of the Northern Region Customer Support Team, this position is responsible for providing a high level of internal and external electrical customer support for the installation and servicing of Heidelberg equipment.
Working as part of a team, responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Providing electrical support for new and second-hand press and post press equipment installations.
- Providing electrical support for repairs to new and second-hand press and post press equipment.
- Ensuring all procedures and work is carried out on PSA contracts.
- Completing required paperwork for electrical customer service work carried out.
- Identifying service gaps and sources of customer dissatisfaction and working with the team to identify, recommend and support solutions to rectify the problem.
- Being an effective and efficient team player, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to organisational goals and objectives
- Contributing to the improvement of internal Employee Motivation Survey results by demonstrating alignment to the HAN Moving Forward values and behaviours
- Identifying and actioning improvement initiatives to improve HAN’s overall business performance.
- Contributing to improved customer satisfaction and minimising customer complaints in line with HAN’s Complaint Management Policy.

The successful candidate will have prior experience in an electrical role using their superior problem solving skills to perform fault finding and preventative maintenance work on capital equipment, preferably in the Graphic Arts Industry, however candidates will be considered who have worked on comparable equipment in a different industry. Ideally, you will have experience installing, programming and troubleshooting PLCs and have worked with Can Bus systems. Using your excellent interpersonal and communication skills, you will establish and enhance strong relationships with our customer base, working to improve HAN’s level of internal and external customer satisfaction. Computer literacy and proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite of software programs is essential, along with experience constructing and troubleshooting Windows 2000 and NT 4.0 programs. In addition you must have, or be willing to work towards, the appropriate electrical licence and qualification for Queensland. A current drivers’ licence is required.
Conditions of Employment This is a permanent, full time position, based in Brisbane. Salary will be determined according to qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. Local employment conditions apply.
